An Abandoned Child

Shivering in this corner
Hoping that someone will come
Every minute I wait, wishing that
Someday life will change.
Loneliness here beside me and
Living in this situation makes me feel hopeless
Everything seems confusing to me
Yearning for mother’s love

Ashamed of myself having,

A merciless mother
Denying me as her child
Endless sadness of mine,
Lack of passion and care.
Another story behind my life and was
Never read by someone else.
Today and tomorrow waiting to be loved,
And it’s another story of my life,
Remembering all my sad moments day and night.

Story of Love '96-'97

Graduation, 1997

[A poem about our grade school classmates in 6th grade, section Love, school year 1996-1997. ]

There is a story of love
But not about love
It is a special class,
That can do fuss

TARAJANE is big but has a small voice
While GUIA MAE is always in poise
PAUL PATRICK is the next James Bond
While KARLA always wear hair band

ROGER the American citizen
And TRIXIA, again, again, again
ANJANETTE the talkative
And MAELYN the hyper active

Maybe CHRISTOPHER hates test
MARY GRACE in volleyball is at best
JENNIFER ROSE, the silent girl
While JENNIFER T. the shy girl

CARL demands the laughter
CARLOS is like our brother
DANTE has two big eyes
CARLO will bump you twice

ANGELA is a jolly person
CAROLINE’S life has always devotion
ADRIAN is good in penmanship
While KATHERINE is good in companionship

In singing, GIRLIE is sparkling
TANYA is then dancing
ROGIE is called Mr. Brown
MICHAEL ANGELO never frowns

LIZA has a smiling face
FEBE JOY runs to the home base
ROXAN often shares her opinion
RHEA never stops her motion

JEAN MARIE likes to eat cake
JOAN tries not to make a mistake
ANNA LOU likes Casper
KRISKA is an ice cream lover
And SHESLLEY is a chocolate eater

MRS. BANTIGUE, our best adviser
Who is a good thinker
That ends your loving reading
The story of love is everything

A Ship Sailing in the Sky

One cold night
In my room
I opened the window
And saw the sky

A billion of twinkling stars
And a shiny moon
A comet blazing
Above the sky

Beside the moon,
On a sparkling star
I saw a ship
Sailing in the sky

In a golden ship
I saw three men
With golden teeth
And with golden hair

I stared on that ship
And I couldn’t believe
What I saw,
Was a ship sailing in the sky

The Field of Wanders

The sun is shining
And the wind is blowing
On the field of wanders
You can see beautiful flowers

The tree of memory
And a hive for a bee
A river of dreams
And colorful streams

A garland of lilies
And a basket of berries
A ribbon of love
And a gigantic dove

From north to south
And from east to west
See the very best

In the field of wanders

Rhythm of the Heart

All I hear is the beating of my heart
Letting me know what it would be
Beating fast and beating slow
Beating loud and beating soft

I ignore the sound
But still I hear
I cover my ears
And the beating gets louder

I feel the beat
Then I listen
And now I realize
That it is the rhythm of heart

No Worries

When you feel sad,
Don’t say it’s bad
No worries ‘cause it’s a problem free
When you feel weak,
Don’t say, “I’m sick”
No worries ‘cause it’s a problem free
When you feel down,
Don’t frown
No worries ‘cause it’s a problem free
When you worry,
Don’t take it seriously
No worries ‘cause it’s a problem free

When you can’t believe,
Just think positive
When you pass a test,
Face it and you’ll be the best
When you’re confused,
Don’t be refused
As you see
If you worry
You’re getting older
And your head is getting hotter and hotter
Just always say
No worries…

The Eyes of the Blind

A blind cannot see
But deep inside he can see
A blind can see darkness
For he does not know he can see light

He thinks his life is over
But he must think that light could be seen after darkness
He feels bitterness in his heart
But he cannot feel the sweetness of his eyes

Being blind is not bad
But losing hope is worse,
What we cannot see
Can be seen by the eyes of the blind

Key of Friendship

Friendship will not last without understanding
You should learn how to understand others' feelings
Friendship will not last without honesty
Always say the truth to your friend calmly

Friendship will not last without fairness,
Always be equal to your friend with kindness.
Friendship will not last without humility,
You should know how to humble yourself truly.
Friendship will not last without manners,
A person with manners is considered respectful.

Friendship will not last without joy
Laughter can be seen after joy
Friendship will not last without love
Love is important from all of the above
Friendship will last when there is God
For He will give you
The key of friendship

Best of Friends

A true person is a true friend
And a true friend is a true person
A friend who is unique
A friend who is like an angel

A true friend never leaves a friend
And always ready to face problems
A true friend you can cry on
And never let you down

A friend you can depend
And a friend you can count on
A friend who’s always there,
When you are in need

A true friend you can talk
For as long as you want
A true friend that can understand
About your feelings

A friend who always says
“Till death do us part”
For what ever happens
We’re still the best of friends

Daydreamers

Daydreamers…
Listen to me
Look at that bee
It is flying freely

Your dreams are getting wilder
And your imaginations are getting wider
You sit under the tree
And you dream that you should be

You dream at day
You dream at night
You dream with might
And you find your way
Daydreamers…

Voice of Happiness

Bring happiness to those who are lonely
And share the laughter freely
Bring happiness to those who feel dead
And encourage them to get up in bed

Bring happiness to those who have problems
And give them the glowing laughter like gems
Bring happiness to those who are sick
And feel to them the cheers to pick

You brought to others
And shared to your brothers and sisters
Listen very carefully,
To the voices of happiness

One Bright Star

One bright star
And it is so far
Shining above the sky
At the universe so high

I wish upon a star
With my coolie jar
Then I close my eyes
And feel the cold night, so nice

Far, far away
Beside the Milky Way
I stare and stare
On that one bright star

Him

When you are alone,
He is with you
When you are lonely,
He makes you feel happy
When you are weak,
He strengthens you
When you are in need,
He comes on time.

When you have problem,
He solves it
When you are lost,
He finds your way
When you are in danger,
He makes you feel safe
When you lose hope,
He encourages you

If you need him,
He comes on time
And makes impossible things possible,
If you believe in him.
